Player guide
Updated September 28, 2026 (JST)
Start with the campaign, learn to aim and adapt your fortress. Japanese, Portuguese and English are available in settings.
Campaign and stars
The campaign has 30 stages across six chapters, with a boss encounter every five stages. Sky, frost and ember environments accompany different enemy fortress shapes. Win to unlock the next stage. Replay stages to improve your star record.
Aiming, firing and heroes
Drag in the battle screen to aim or use the angle control. The dotted trajectory helps you choose where to hit. Select a hero from your formation before firing: the eight heroes have different attacks. Each shot passes the turn. In the online arena, you also adjust power; the server calculates the shot and damage.
Core, support and budget
Open Castle to edit your fortress. Choose timber, stone, armor or core, then tap a grid position. Your design needs exactly one core. Build from the ground up: unsupported blocks make a design invalid, and destroying supports can bring down blocks above them in battle. Keep within the block and point limits shown on screen. Save the design to use it in your next local battles.
Resources, daily chest and forge
Claim the daily chest once per calendar day in Japan time (JST, UTC+9). It gives 250 local coins, 100 timber and 5 gems. The forge costs 100 coins and 120 timber and upgrades a unit in a set sequence; it is not a random prize box. Castle and unit upgrades show their own costs before you spend resources.
Account and cloud saves
You can play the campaign without an account. In the account panel, email and password let you sign in and save or restore structural progress in the cloud. Compatible layouts, upgrades and progress can be synchronized; local coins, timber and gems stay outside the online save and do not become a purchase balance. Restoring does not merge two saves, so check the state before replacing local progress. Google and Apple sign-in still need configuration and validation.
Two-player arena
Sign in and find a match. The queue waits for another real account; it does not replace an opponent with a bot. You can cancel while waiting. Both sides start with equal conditions, without advantages from purchases or local upgrades. The server controls turns, shots, damage and the result. Reconnect with the same account to resume your match. Inactivity can end a turn or match; resigning counts as a loss. Online ranking is separate from local stars.
Updates and installation
In the direct APK, the app checks for updates at startup and automatically downloads an available release. After verifying the file, it asks you to install it. If Android has not allowed this installation source, the screen explains how to grant permission in settings; then tap Continue installation. Android always asks for installation confirmation. The Updates screen also lets you check manually. Store builds only show a notice and open the relevant store.
Help and account deletion
Support and account deletion instructions are linked in the footer. Deleting an online account requires confirming your identity. Offline progress is separate and may remain on the device; clearing app data also removes that progress. Never send support your password, authentication codes or card number.
Using the world map
MAP shows every sky island. Drag to move and pinch to zoom. The gold circle is your next stage; the flame circle is the chapter boss. Misty islands are still closed. The islets on top are Living World regions (opened by captain level); the ones below lead to Arena, Expeditions, Event and Market.
Atelier: make it yours
Pick roof, walls, banner, emblem, wheels and, for each troop, headgear and aura. Unlock with gold, crystals or captain level. Looks show on the home screen and in battle but never change strength. The brighter the frame, the rarer the item.
SUPER attack
The bolt button’s ring fills with the damage you deal. When full, tap it: your next shot becomes a golden round with 1.7x damage and 1.35x blast radius. Tap again to cancel. Save it for the core or the pillars.
Controls and options
In Settings choose “Pull & release” to aim by dragging back on the field and fire on release. There is also a left-handed layout, trajectory guide, separate music and effects volume, vibration, screen shake and damage numbers. On older phones set graphics to “Light”.
Realms and battlefields
Chapter 1: sunset meadow; chapter 2: waterfall isles; chapters 3–4: snow and ice; chapters 5–6: lava archipelago. Each realm changes scenery, ground and music, and boss stages have their own theme. Late expeditions are fought in the aurora ruins.
When a troop falls
Hitting a room also wounds the troop inside. Out of health, it falls and can no longer shoot. If every troop falls or the core breaks, the battle is over. The same goes for the enemy, so aim at rooms full of troops.
